Spring ‘24 Road Trip - Trip Home
The trip home was pretty uneventful. I was fortunate with the route I took even though 80 through Wyoming is always a tossup as far as what weather you’ll run into. I was surprised when I got home to see how much difference in mileage there is between the way we went out and the way we came home. The only unusual stop we made on the way home was Charlie and I went to Hooters by our hotel in Denver for beer and wings for me and chicken strips for Charlie. Then Charlie crashed in the hotel couch as he so often does. 😂 When we hit Wyoming just before Laramie we hit just light snow and I was glad that’s all it was thankfully. When we got home I felt better than I expected after doing it in just 4 days I made burritos for May 4th and Tacos for Cinco de Mayo and enjoyed some of the Ultra that Tom sent home with me. 😊 Then on the 9th the day between labs and treatment I did a race with Smitty. Way to hard for only a mile.
