Fall Road Trip - Part 3
When I go see the kids I always get a boost. Physically things don’t get better and usually not worse but emotionally the change is pretty dramatic. With the kids getting older and everyone so busy it’s different than it used to be but it’s still great being with people who are so important to me. 😊 A lot of time is spent at various rinks when I visit especially with both Chase and Haley playing. I was in the lobby at the kid’s home rink and saw a brochure that looked like it had a runner on it. When I took a closer look it was another example of how small this world is. The runner on a Marine recruiting brochure was one of my former athletes from Sierra, Pedro Rodriguez. It was taken while he was doing a marathon while stationed overseas.
