A Trip With My Sisters
Donna was trying to update the title on land in Elko, Nevada that she owned with my parents. It should have been simple but wasn’t. She had an appointment in court so decided to go in person rather than a meeting online. Initially I wasn’t going to go but I really didn’t like the idea of her making the drive alone through some pretty remote areas. Carol planned to meet us in Elko for the weekend. So we decided to all go and make a weekend of it. We left on Saturday and headed back on Tuesday. Charlie was less than enthusiastic to hit the road. 😊 My car hit 100,000 miles on this trip. It’s been a good car for all the trips I’ve made. On Sunday we set out to find Donna’s land. Carol was a good navigator and we got close despite lousy unmaintained dirt roads. We finally hit a muddy stretch we couldn’t go past. I almost got stuck and the car got completely muddy from spinning tires. So we got close but didn’t find the actual lots.
