Spring Road Trip - Pt 3 Finishing the Lower 48!

After catching my breath and leaving Charlie with Stacie I headed to the east coast with the intention of doing races in my last four states: Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine and Vermont. My original plan was to do the northern two in one trip and then go back to Saint Louis, get my treatment on June 6th and then go back to get the last two. I was working my way up in altitude to hopefully prepare for a few days at altitude including a Reunion Run at Garden of the Gods.  I knew race day, the 6th would dictate what I probably shouldn’t eat for pre-race Cinco deMayo so we decided to do our meal on Cinco de Tres. I found a place online called Torchy’s Tacos and since my Hot Stuff tattoo was their trademark I knew it was the place to go for a margarita and Mexican. As usual food will have a central part in th...
